Stop buying from dealers at that price range.
Use search tempest, and hunt down a car from a private seller. You'll have a much happier experience.

Looked into Celica GT-Fours? Invincible engine, AWD, fast, very light. I have essentially a 4 door Celica in the form of my Corona Exiv and no matter what I do I cannot kill the engine.

One of the reasons I've held on to my car for six years. Besides the fact that it has been reliable, and I still like it okay, I simply don't want to go through the process of buying another one. It's terrible.
